Marion Ruditis

April 25, 1926 — September 24, 2014

Marion Sharp Ruditis, 88 of Franklin went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday September 24, 2014. She was the matriarch of her family and also the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Born April 25, 1926 in Franklin she was a daughter of the late Elroy and Eleanor Kunkle Sharp.
She was a 1943 graduate of Rocky Grove High School and also attended Harbor College in Wilmington, CA.

She worked for Upjohn Healthcare in Long Beach, CA in the payroll and billing department. She also worked for Joy Manufacturing in Franklin.

Marion was a faithful member of Galloway United Methodist Church.

She was active in card clubs, RSVP, and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed various crafts, including crocheting and knitting and also enjoyed puzzles.

On November 9, 1946 she married Stanley Ruditis and he preceded her in death on December 27, 1994.

Surviving are four children; Michael Ruditis and his wife Ruth of Franklin, Cynthia Ruditis of Franklin, Barbara Morinello and her husband James of Harbor City, CA and Joe Ruditis and his wife Susie of Norwalk, CA; four grandchildren; Stacey Montgomery and husband Thomas of Williamstown, KY, Christine Bollinger and husband Jason of Erie, Andrea West and her husband Thomas of Front Royal VA, and Jeremy Ruditis and his wife Lorena of La Habra, CA; and 11 great-grandchildren, Rachel, Brady and Bryce Montgomery and Julia, Andrew, Isabella and Olivia Bollinger, Adelaide and Aurora West, and Adrio Gaonoa and Samuel Ruditis and her grand dog, Beau.

Additionally surviving are two brother-in-laws; Gerald Holibaugh of Franklin and Jack Feltenberger of Harrisburg and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Elizabeth Whitman, Elsie Feltenberger and Shirley Holibaugh.

Family and friends welcome from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. Wednesday at Galloway United Methodist Church, 196 Seysler Rd. Franklin.

Funeral services will follow at 12:00 P.M. in the Church with the Rev. Roy Gearhart, Pastor of the Church, officiating.

Interment will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 312 W. Park St. Franklin.
