Albert A. Sabatini

February 18, 1932 — April 23, 2012

Albert A. Sabatini Jr., 80, of 636 White Road, Cooperstown died at 7 a.m. Monday April 23, 2012 at his residence. He had resided in the Bradleytown area since 1987.

A son of Albert Angelo and Mary Puskarich Sabatini he was born in Russelton on February 18, 1932. He received his Masters? Degree in Mathematics from Clarion University.

Mr. Sabatini was a math teacher at Langley High School for 27 years. He retired in 1987.

An Army paratrooper he proudly served with the Green Beret in Germany during the Korean War.

An outdoorsman he loved hunting and fishing. He treasured the time spent with his grandchildren.

Surviving are a son Gary Sabatini and his wife Pamela of Franklin; a daughter Deanna Bordelon and her husband Brent of Pearland, TX; and six grandchildren Whittney Myers of Montross, VA, Benjamin Sabatini and Jessica Sabatini both of Franklin, Savannah Killion, Austin Bordelon and Tyler Killion all of Pearland, TX. Also surviving are three sisters Alberta Young, Altheia Chaballa and Ida Medlen and her husband Robert and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received in the Huff Chapel, 312 W. Park St. from 4-7 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 7 p.m. with Rev. Mark Rusnak, chaplain of Ascera Care Hospice officiating.
