Barbara L. Kinney

Barbara L. Kinney, 81, of 160 Sleepy Hollow Lane died at 8:04 p.m. Saturday October 31, 2009 at UPMC Northwest.
A daughter of Thomas R. and Annabell Kirkpatrick Scott she was born in Kittanning on February 16, 1928. She was raised in the Polk area and was a graduate of Franklin High School.

Mrs. Kinney retired in 1988 from Polk Center with 24 years of services as a residential aide.
She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and enjoyed gardening, golfing and cooking.
Surviving are a son Fred R. Kinney of Franklin, a brother Bob Scott of Rochester, NY and four grandchildren Caitlan, Lee Ann and Abagail Moreland and Marci Amon. She was preceded in death by a daughter Cinda Moreland and a sister Stella Scott.
There will be no public visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Her family has suggested memorial donations be made to the Venango County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1045, Oil City PA 16301.
