Barbara Loretta Brown

Barbara Loretta Brown, 81 of Franklin passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning, December 25, 2015 at her residence.

Born November 30, 1934 in Olean, NY, she was a daughter of the late Milton Southard and Clarice VanScoter Rudy.

She was a 1953 graduate of Otto Eldred High School.

Barb was a very hard worker throughout her life and over the years worked for Joy Global, CPT, and Integra Bank.

She had a love of all music especially the Beatles. She enjoyed playing anything with keys, such as the organ, piano and accordion. She was an avid bowler and participated in local leagues. Barb also loved decorating for the holidays and viewing the moon and sunsets.

Surviving are two children; Scott Gibbons of Franklin and Sheila Klingensmith and her husband Craig of Titusville; two grandchildren, Cody and Conner Klingensmith both of Titusville; a special friend, Judy Warnick; and her former husband Charles Gibbons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Janet Southard and Molly Ann Southard; and her step-father, Robert Rudy.

At Barb's request, there will be no visitation or services.

Interment will be at Lamphier Cemetery in Eldred, PA.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin.
