Claude E. Surrena

Claude E. Surrena, 88, formerly of Marion Township, died at 1:05 p.m. Monday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where he lived for more than 30 years. Born in Marion township, Nov. 4, 1921, he was the son of Harry Surrena and Wilda B. (Mortland) Surrena. He formerly attended the Church of the Nazarene, Nectarine. He enjoyed life to the fullest, and he enjoyed his family. Surviving are a brother, Daniel E. Surrena of Slippery Rock, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and five brothers. SURRENA - Friends of Claude E. Surrena, who died Monday, March 22, 2010, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Jamison Funeral Home, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville. Services will follow at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor William Hasting of the Harrisville United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Clintonville Methodist Cemetery.
