Elnora M. Miller

Elnora M. Miller, 89 of 1455 Pittsburgh Road, Franklin, died at 10:15 a.m., March 29, 2009 in Sugar Creek Station. She was born in Polk a daughter of Charles W. and Rose Dickey Marshall. She attended public schools at Polk and graduated from Franklin High School in 1937. Mrs. Miller worked at the Chicago Pneumatic Tool Company for over 16 years retiring from there in 1981. She was member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Franklin, the Franklin Eagles Auxiliary and the Reno Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She was married to Lawrence F. Miller Jr. on June 14, 1947 and he died on May 9, 1996. Surviving are a daughter Lauren McCauley and her husband Henry, Franklin; a son Rev. Thomas M. Miller and his wife Tricia, Platteville, WI; 8 grandchildren Craig Miller, Alaska; Russell Miller and his wife Carlene, Alaska; Sarah Miller, Texas; Thomas Miller Jr. and his wife Leslie, Kansas; Rachel Miller Wisconsin; James Miller, Wisconsin; Mac McCauley and his wife Leesa, Ohio; Stephen McCauley, Franklin, 3 great grandchildren Isaac McCauley and Jacob McCauley , Franklin and Seth McCauley, Ohio, a daughter-in-law Toni Miller Mancini, Alaska and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, a son Major Randall C. Miller; three sisters, Margaret Grace, Helen Ritchey and a sister in infancy; a brother Ralph Marshall. There will be no public visitation. A funeral service will be conducted in the Atlantic Ave. United Brethren in Christ Church on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Small pastor of the church officiating. Interment will be made in the Franklin Cemetery. The Huff Chapel, 312 W. Park St., Franklin is in charge of the arrangements.
