Gertrude E. Staab

Gertrude E. Staab, 91, of Trinity Living Center, Grove City died Friday September 25, 2015. She had previously resided in Carnegie and Harrisville.

A daughter of John and Jenny Belle Welsh Herron, she was born in Carnegie on May 13, 1924.

Mrs, Staab had worked at the perfume counter of Joseph Horne Co.

She was a member of St. Peter parish. She and her husband enjoyed dancing and she taught dance classes, everything from ballroom to line dancing.

On March 4, 1946 she married Robert J. Staab. He died February 1, 1998.

Surviving are 5 sons Robert (Arlie) Staab of Inverness, FL, Thomas (Beverly) Staab, William (Teresa) Staab, Daniel Staab and Matthew (Leane) Staab all of Harrisvile, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son John, a grandson, Tommy Staab, 5 sisters and 3 brothers.

Friends will be received in the Jamison Funeral Home, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville from 3-7 p.m. Monday. A blessing service will be held at 6 p.m. with Pastor Amy Worline, chaplain of trinity Living Center presiding.

Interment will be made in St. Anthony Cemetery.
