Harold B. "Jack" Denny

Harold B. "Jack" Denny, Jr., of Titusville, PA, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, from complications of a lingering illness.

Harold was born on August 22, 1946 in Franklin, PA, he was the son of Harold B. and Dorothy A. (O'Brien) Denny, Sr.

Harold was a 1966 graduate of Franklin High School. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served a tour in Vietnam from 1966 to 1968.

Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, training beagles and his 4-wheeler, when his health permitted. After returning from the service he worked at Anderson's Furniture, Oilwell Supply, Court Recreation Bowling Lanes and lastly at Citizens Transport Courier and Armored Car Co. in Evans City, PA.

Harold was married to Connie A. Harbaugh on Christmas Eve 2003, and previously to Holly L. Wile Denny, and they both survive.

He is also survived by his daughter, Kelly L. (Denny) Nguyen and her husband, Trieu, of Erie, PA; a step-son, Garrett E. "Gary" Harbaugh, of Titusville, PA; and a step-daughter, Laura A. (Harbaugh) Morin and her husband, Arthur, of Lincoln, RI.

He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Delbert D. Denny, of Oil City, PA, Patrick H. Denny of Riverton, WY, Christina (Larry) Schill of Venus, PA, Pamela L. Carter of Seneca, Jeffery W. Denny of Franklin, Reginald E. Denny, Gregory A. Denny Cynthia Klinger, Brenda (Steve) Deeter, Brigette (Arthur) McDonald, all of Franklin, PA and Gary A. Denny of Edmund, OK.

He is also survived by the following grandchildren: Bradley N. and Olivia R. Nguyen of Erie, PA; and three step-grandsons: Joshua P. and Adam E. Morin of Lincoln, RI, and Zachary G. Harbaugh of Franklin, PA.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Denny was preceded in death by a brother George B. Denny; his sisters-in-law, Betty J. Denny, Latricia Denny, and Caroline Denny; and two step-grandchildren, Lee Wielandt and Kassandra L. Finefrock.

In accordance with Mr. Denny's wishes there will be no visitation, or funeral service.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin.
