Helen E. Dinger, of 301 South Broad St. Grove City, PA for the past 8 months formerly of Harrisville died on Wednesday May 8, 2013 in Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born on May 12, 1942 in Knox, PA to Warren C. Shaffer and Emma A. (Reed) Shaffer.

She was a 1960 graduate of Keystone High School Knox, PA

She was a homemaker

She was a member of West Unity Community Church Harrisville.

She was a member of the Ladies Missionary Society of the church; she enjoyed fishing with her late husband, crossword puzzles, reading, bingo, and playing cards. She helped at Seneca Hills Bible Camp, and she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was married on April 29, 1961 to James R. Dinger who died on February 25, 2012.

Survivng are three daughters, Theresa L. Johnston and her husband Boyd E.-Harrisville, PA Catherine E. Young and her husband Daniel L.-League City, TX, Robin L. Leach and her husband Todd A.-Kemah, TX; one son, James I. Dinger and his wife Doris-New Galilee, PA; seven Granddaughters three Grandsons.

Also surviving are two sisters, Irene Karns and her husband James-Harrisville, PA andRose Chambers-Grove City, PA; two brothers Chester Shaffer and his wife Lynda-Knox, PA and Sam Shaffer-Polk, PA

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and four sisters, Dorothy Kraft, Louise Morrison, Shirley Sloat and Lois Shaffer.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Friday May 10, 2013 at Jamison Funeral Home 117 N. Main St.� Harrisville and from 10:00A.M.until the time of service Saturday May 11, 2013 at the church.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday May 11, 2013 at West Unity Community Church with Pastor Boyd D. Smith, her pastor, officiating.
