Imogene H. Geib

Imogene H. Geib, 86 of Franklin passed away at 12:40 P.M. Friday, March 23, 2012 at the Caring Place.

Born September 13, 1925 in Saxonburg, Imogene was a daughter of the late Laurence E. and Irene B. Wilson Heller.

Mrs. Geib was a longtime resident of Franklin and retired from the Thrift Drug Store in the 1980?s. She has been residing at the home of her daughter, Kathy Walbourn from 2001 thru February of 2011. Since then she was residing at the Caring Place in Franklin.

Imogene loved working with flowers and many admired her beautiful porch boxes and hanging baskets. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren enjoyed and benefited from her kind and loving nature as did every member of her family. She is greatly loved and honored and will be missed by all.

She was married to Edward M. Geib Sr. for 35 years and he preceded her in death.

Surviving are five children; Edward M. Geib Jr., Barbara J. Stevenson, Dennis E. Geib, Gary L. Geib and Kathy A. Walbourn; 14 grandchildren, Tami S. Sari, Leigh Ann Walbourn, Garrett Hunter Geib, Nicole Rayfield, Eric V. Geib, Michael E. Pratt, Jeffrey E. Stevenson, Susan J. Harrast, William E. Geib, Lisa J. Geib, Robert A. Geib, Daniel G. Geib, Andrew S. Geib, and Edward A. Geib; seven great grandchildren, Lance Geib, Dallas Rayfield, Dillion Rayfield, Dustin Rayfield, Mason D. Lynde, Reece E. Sari and Kelan C. Sari; and one brother Robert E. Heller.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three sisters; Margaret Shearer, Phyllis Snyder, and Mary Lou Heller; and two brothers, William Heller and Laurence Heller.

Family and friends welcome Tuesday from 2:00 ? 4:00 & 7:00 ? 9:00 P.M. at the Huff Chapel Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin.

Additional visitation will be from 10:00 ? 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Caring Place Chapel 103 N. 13th St. Franklin where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M.

Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Butler.
