James P. Wood

James P. Wood, 66, of Polk Center, went to heaven at 5:55 A.M. Thursday December 29, 2016.

Born in Meadville on October 22, 1950, he was the son of the late Lawrence M. and Elsie F. Deeter Wood.

Jimmy resided at Polk Center for over 50 years and in his time there held various jobs, including working in the kitchen preparing silverware for meals and also sorting parts.

He was very active and participated in many events at Polk Center.

Surviving are two sisters, Judy Cheers and her husband Glenn of Cochranton and Carol Price of Cochranton and several nieces and nephews.

Private visitation and services will be held for the family.

Interment will be at Peters Cemetery.
