Jane K. Fulmer

December 16, 1923 — June 23, 2012

Jane K. Fulmer, 88, formerly of 674 Grant Street, died at 9:00 a.m. Saturday June 23, 2012 at The Caring Place.

A daughter of Charles H. and Agnes Heckathorne Kugler she was born on December 16, 1923 in Oil City. She was a 1942 graduate of Franklin High School.

A veteran of World War II she served in the U.S.Navy in Cleveland from 1943-45.

Mrs. Fulmer had worked at Campbell Department Store for over 20 years, for many of those years she was the window dresser. She also had worked at McCarthy Buick in Franklin.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and the American Legion.
Jane enjoyed the outdoors enjoying camping, boating, traveling and playing bingo.

On August 23, 1948 she married George Fulmer who preceded her in death on June 1, 1994.

Surviving are nieces and nephews including a special niece Kathy K. Peterson of Franklin and a friend Joe Senott of Cincinnati who she thought of as a son.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters Mary Maher and Florence Nicolas and four brothers Paul, Carl, Jack and Joseph Kugler.

Friends will be received in the Huff Chapel, 312 W. Park St. from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 7 p.m. with Rev. David Janz pastor of Christ United Methodist Church officiating.

Military honors will be rendered by V.E.T.S. Honor Guard.

Interment will follow in the Reno Cemetery.
