Jeanne M. Martin

Jeanne M. Martin, 83, of Sugar Creek Station died at 8:50 a.m. Sunday December 27, 2009.
A daughter of Edmund and Freda Waslohn Macfarlane she was born in Warren on July 23, 1926. She was a graduate of Oil City High School. She received her degree in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Nursing in 1947. She worked for several years in the Oil City Hospital. In 1978 she received her professional certificate for school nursing and began a 20 year career with the Oil City School District.
In 1949 she married Thomas H. Martin he died earlier this year.
Surviving are a son Dr. Thomas E. Martin of Exton and a daughter Melinda Remley and her husband David of Franklin.
In accordance with Mrs. Martin?s wishes there will be no public visitation or services.
