Joan Lorraine King

Joan Lorraine King, 87, of Polk, passed away at 12:13 A.M. on Thursday December 14, 2017 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.

Born on July 13, 1930 she was the daughter of Kenneth and Lucille Courson Neeley.

On March 30, 1951 she married DeWayne King and he preceded her in death on September 7, 1993.

Joan is survived by four children; Kenneth (Paulette) King, Kimberlee (Tom) Mahood, Keith (Misty) King and Kelli King; five grandchildren, Sonya Mullen, DeWayne Harbaugh, Melissa Cox, Mariah Rider, and John Mahood.

Also surviving are nine great grandchildren; Megan and Rebecca Mullen, Andrew and Abigail Harbaugh, Justeyn and Landon Winner, Acacia and DeWayne Rider and Kayleb Cox.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Karen Roberts; sisters, Janet Prince, and Bonnie Neeley; two brothers, Kenneth and John Neeley; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Etha Neeley and her maternal grandparents John and Lula Courson and three grandchildren, Kenneth, Kevin and Kristopher.

There will be no visitation or services at her request.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 W. Park St. Franklin.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Venango County Humane Society, 286 S Main St, Seneca, PA 16346.
