Kathleen A. "Kathi" Seefried

June 10, 1947 — February 29, 2016

Kathleen A. "Kathi" Seefried, 68, of Franklin left Family Hospice in Pittsburgh and went home to Heaven on Monday February 29, 2016.

A daughter of Frank and Kathleen Weiser Hutchison, she was born in Oil City on June 10, 1947. Kathi was a graduate of Oil City High School.

She had been a Corrections Monitor for the Venango County Prison. She retired as the manager of the Meadville Big Lots.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Titusville.

Kathi loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother and all the activities that entails. Numerous trips to Cape Cod each year always lifted her spirits.

On May 28, 1966 she married Michael E. Seefried, who survives along with two daughters Heidi Lynn (Michael) Wonderling of Titusville and Holly Ann (Kelly) McKenzie of Franklin, a son Travis William Seefried of New Franklin, OH; 7 grandchildren Brittni Faye Wonderling and her significant other Bradley Wolak, Branndi Lee Hasbrouck and her fiancé Jacobi Foltz, Joshua John Beach, Jacob John Beach, Andrew Hanson, Dustin McKenzie and Chelsea McKenzie and a great-granddaughter Lakelynn Marie Foltz.

Also surviving is her sister Nancy (William) Busch of Latrobe, dear friends Brian Strickmaker, Dr. Lisa Ford Garnes, Elaine Bauder and Jean Schwabenbauer and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no public visitation or services at her request.

Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services has been entrusted with her funeral arrangements.

Interment will be made in Old Zion Cemetery, Emlenton.
