Kenneth E. Gregory

Kenneth E. Gregory, 67, of Franklin passed away at 8:54 P.M. on Friday October 19, 2018 at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh.

Born in Franklin on July 8, 1951, he was a son of the late Harry S. and Sara Umstead Gregory.

Ken was a 1970 graduate of Cranberry High School. He worked from September 1970 - May of 2005 at Joy Manufacturing as a tool grinder where he retired from.

Ken was an avid Nascar fan and attended many races throughout the eastern United States each year. He loved spending time with his Nascar family where he was fondly referred to as the "Fathead Guy."

Ken also enjoyed hanging out with his good friends, Kevin, Kevin and Joe.
Surviving is his daughter; Amanda Frye and her husband John of Clarks Mills; a brother, Richard Gregory Sr. and his wife Elsa of Utica; three sisters, Dorothy Legler of Oil City, Beverly Mercado of Stickney, IL, and Christina Howard of Ruskin, FL; three grandchildren, Melissa Gilliland and her husband Mark of Stoneboro, Drew Frye of Clarks Mills, and Adam Frye and his companion Kennedy Barish of Stoneboro; one great-grandson, Kohen Frye of Stoneboro and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Bob Meals and two nephews Richard Gregory Jr. and Todd Howard.

It was Ken's wish to have no visitation or services.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin, PA 16323.

Memorial donations may be made in Ken's name to a charity of church of one's choice.
