Lois M. Bleakney

Lois M. Bleakney, 93, of Cincinnati, OH, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away at the Christian Village Mt. Healthy in Cincinnati on Monday, June 14, 2021.

Born in Ellwood City on October 10, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Deemer and Frances M. Francis Deemer.

She was a graduate of Ellwood City High School.

Lois loved to read, crochet, quilt and spend time with her family.

Lois was married to Herbert R. Bleakney on May 27, 1948 and he preceded her in death on January 9, 2007.

Surviving are five children, Glady “Ree” McMullen and her husband Shawn, Janine Cornett and her husband Dale, Bobbi Philson, Karen Murphy and her husband Lou and Russell Bleakney; 10 grandchildren, Kendra McMullen and her husband Quinton Hooks, Kyla Flodberg and her husband Edward, Kelsey McKain and her husband Ben, Riley Nichols and her husband Jeff, Hilary Rappe and her husband Trent, Crispin Cornett and his wife Jessica, Adam Littell and his wife Missy, Shannon Byers and her husband Jon, Heather Jones and her wife Samantha and Robin Lamb.

Additionally surviving are 17 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Marianne Bleakney, a son-in-law, William Philson and a grandson-in-law, Ryan Lamb.
There will be no visitation or services.
