Lois M. Coffey

Lois Marie Coffey, 91, of Franklin, passed away peacefully shortly after arriving home on Wednesday, December 19, 2018.

Born in Warren, OH on March 6, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Nesbit and Carol McMurdy Henderson.

Lois was a graduate of Franklin High School and worked for 19 years at Polk Center before retiring in 1974.

Lois enjoyed quilting and sewing and attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Franklin.

She first married William G. Snyder on July 5, 1946 and he preceded her in death on January 9, 1970 and then on November 2, 1973 she married Norman L. Coffey and he survives.

Also surviving are three children; Carol Ann Bigelow and her husband Craig of Dallas, TX, Mary Kay Ross and her husband Ronald of Forks, WA and William G. Snyder and his wife Christine of Seminole, FL; four grandchildren, William G. Snyder Jr. and his wife Jodie, Chad Snyder, Heidi Ross, Richard Ross and his wife Melinda; six great-grandchildren, Davida Klimpel, Sebastian Ross, Damian Ross, Isabella Snyder, Lillian Snyder and Lucas Snyder; and several very special nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Crum and three brothers, Wilber Henderson, DeWayne Henderson and Wallace Henderson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday January 6th 2019 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 1410 Pittsburgh Rd. Franklin with Richard Cauvel Jr., officiating.

Interment will be made in Franklin Cemetery at a later date.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin.
