Lorelei Brison Campbell

Lorelei Brison Campbell, 62 of Franklin, PA, died on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Erie Select Specialty Hospital after a long illness. Lorelei was born in Oil City, PA on December 31, 1954 to William and Mary Leona Boyd Brison. She was one of eight children and preceded in death by her parents and brothers William, Theodore, and Barry.

After serving in the Women's Army Corps and being a single mother, Lorelei's life led her to Hampton, Virginia, where she was introduced to the love of her life, James Campbell. Lorelei said she knew she was going to marry Jim after the first time they met and they Wed on April 14, 1984. Lorelei was an educator and she touched many lives through her teaching, writing, and art. Her love of reading and the written word has led to life-long friendships as she kept in touch over distance with long letters or simple postcards, always sending love, kindness, and positive thoughts.

Lorelei is survived by her husband of 33 years, James Campbell; children Clinton Campbell (Tina), Rebecca Guzowski (John) and Mary Campbell; grandchildren Alexis, Hannah, Jayme, Francesca, and Jack; siblings Mary Lee Logue, Cynthia Hill, Larry Brison, and Steven Brison.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, June 21, at 2:00 pm at the Foxburg United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends that evening at Lorelei's Home. It is her wish that she is remembered by sharing happy memories, sending "snail mail" and doing random acts of kindness for others.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 312 W. Park St, Franklin.

Interment will take place at Graham Cemetery where full military honors will be rendered by the V.E.T.S. Honor Guard.
