Margaret E. Bergin

Margaret E. Bergin, 70 of Franklin passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning September 3, 2016 after a sudden illness.

Born April 25, 1946 in Meadville, she was a daughter of the later James "Richard" and Martha Belle Crabb Papenfuse.

She was a graduate of Maplewood High School.

Mrs. Bergin worked for over 20 years at Polk Center as in Resident Service Aide in the Woodside building.

Margaret had a passion for horses and throughout her life trained them and sold them. She was an all-around Cowgirl participating in many Rodeo events including barrel racing. She loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing.

She was a member and officer of AUCADO.

On May 7, 1966 she married Richard Bergin and they recently celebrated 50 years of marriage.
She is survived by her husband Richard Bergin of Franklin; a son, Thomas Bergin of Franklin and a daughter, Sue Bergin of Franklin and a nephew Arthur Papenfuse.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Frederick Papenfuse.

At the request of Margaret there will be no service or visitation.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin.
