Margaret "Peggy" Huffman

Margaret ?Peggy? Huffman, 60 of Wilson Ave. in Rocky Grove, passed away at 12:20 P.M. on Wednesday January 29, 2014 at The Caring Place surrounded by her family after a lengthy battle with Leukemia.

Born July 3, 1953 in Oil City, she was a daughter of Leroy Harvey and Grace McGinnis Harvey.

Peggy was a graduate of Rocky Grove High School.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting as well. Peggy loved long walks at Two Mile Run Park and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

Peggy was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family.

On August 24, 1994 she married Donald R. Huffman and he survives.

Also surviving are three daughters; Cindy Heller and her husband Tim of Rocky Grove, Kim Myers and her husband Chris of Reno, and Crystal Reisinger Hadden and her husband Cory of of Rocky Grove; a brother Dan Paden of Oil City; a sister, Pam McMurdy of Rouseville; five grandchildren, Justin Heller, Brandon Heller, Tyler Heller, Austin Myers, and Christina Myers.

Additionally she is survived by; brother in laws, Leroy Huffman and his wife Delores of Cranberry and Harry Huffman and his wife Sharon of Seneca; a sister in law, Ruby Haupt and her husband Dick of Rockland; a father in law, Wallace Huffman of Seneca and her beloved friend and companion, her dog Wimpy.

Family and friends welcome Friday from 3:00 ? 7:00 P.M. at Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 312 West Park St. Franklin.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Peggy?s brother, Rev. Dan Paden, officiating.

Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery.
