Muriel H. Mckissick

Muriel Hazel McKissick of Manchester, NH died on April 1, 2012 in Hackett Hill Health Care Center after a long Illness.

Muriel was a graduate of Edinboro State Teachers College, earning a degree in Elementary Art Education.

After accepting a position at Siverly and Grant Street Schools in the Oil City Area School District in the fall of 1949 she taught for 30 years retiring at age 52.

Muriel and Alan McKissick of Polk were united in marriage on June 10th 1950 and they were blessed with the birth of two sons, Lloyd and Hugh McKissick.
She is also survived by her husband of 62 years, Alan McKissick and three grandchildren Jennifer Prahl, Sara McKissick, and Liam McKissick.

Friends will be received from 6:00 ? 8:00 P.M. Friday at Huff Chapel Inc. 312 West Park St. Franklin

Interment will be at Old Sandy Cemetery.
