Patricia J. Baldwin

Patricia J. Baldwin of 103 N. 13th St. Franklin passed away at 11:07 P.M. on Tuesday June 4, 2013 at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh.

Born February 18, 1944 in Franklin she was a daughter of the late Vernon E. and Betty L. McCracken Brooks.

She was a graduate of Franklin High School and Seton Hill University and taught elementary school in Palm Beach county Florida.

Pat loved to travel, having been to England, Scotland, Wales, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and Denmark. She loved reading, Cleo, her cat at the Caring Place, and she loved spending time with family.

In 1963 she married William Brown Sr. at St. Patrick Church in Franklin and he preceded her in death.

Mrs. Baldwin is survived by her sons, William Brown Jr., Claysburg, Pa., and Sgt. Matthew Brown, Fort Bragg, NC., Matthew's wife Dawn Stellabotte, A grandson, Matthew ?JB? Brown of Claysburg, Pa, brothers Bill Brooks, Johnstown, Pa., Greg Brooks, Oil City, Pa. , David Brooks, Franklin, Pa. and two sisters Dr. Alison Granados, Farmington Hills, Mi., Valerie Peterson, Franklin, Pa., as well as Nancy Brooks, her step-mother, also of Franklin, Pa. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her first husband she was preceded in death by her second husband Larry Baldwin and her sister in law Dawn Brooks.

Family and friends welcome Saturday from 11:00 A.M. ? 1:00 P.M. at Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 312 West Park St. Franklin.

A blessing service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Deacon Richard Reed of St. Patrick Church, officiating.

Interment will take place at Grove Hill Cemetery in Oil City.
