Paul E. Phillips

Paul E. Phillips Jr., 70, of 1827 Grant Street, Utica died at 12:55 a.m. Friday October 1, 2010 at UPMC Northwest, Seneca.
A son of Paul E. and Norma Lyda Eaton Phillips he was born in Franklin on June 30, 1940.
Paul retired from Polk Center in 1998 after 27 years of service as a security guard. He also had driven for Community Ambulance Service.
He enjoyed volunteering and participating in the activities of the Utica and Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Departments.
On April 2, 1963 he married the former Roberta S. Barr, she survives along with four sons Robert Phillips of Utica, Randell Phillips and his wife Rene, Richard Phillips and Donald Phillips all of Franklin and ten grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister Barbara Sue Hall of Franklin.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Margaret Stanton.
Friends will be received in the Huff Chapel, 312 W. Park St. from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 8:00 p.m. with the Rev. Larry Williams, pastor of the Faith Baptist Church in Seneca officiating.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Utica Volunteer Fire Department or The Community Ambulance Association.
