Terry Lee Ace, 66 of 537 3rd St., Franklin, died on Sunday February 14, 2010 at 9:16 a.m. in the Emergency Room at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.
He was born in Franklin on January 23, 1944 a son of Nelson and Annabelle McCartney Ace. He attended Franklin Schools.
Mr. Ace was employed as a security Guard at Joy Mining Machinery for 45 years, retiring from there.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, nice weather, listening to the radio, watching TV and spending time with his family especially his grandson.
He was married to the former Mary Marsh and she died on January 15, 1984.
Surviving is a son Terry M. Ace and his wife Cynthia, Franklin; a grandson Terry M. Ace, Jr., Franklin; a brother, James Wolf and his wife Nancy, Seneca; a brother-in-law Sam Roser, Seneca; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death his parents, his wife and a sister Linda Roser.
There will no public visitation or service.
Interment will be made in the Franklin Cemetery.
The Huff Chapel Inc., 312 W. Park St., Franklin is in charge of the arrangements.
The family suggests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Western Region, 320 Bilmar Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15205-4620 or the Venango County Humane Society, PO Box 1045, Oil City, PA 16301.
