Theadora M. "Teddie" Preston

Theadora M. "Teddie" Preston, 95, of Franklin passed away at 6:20 P.M. on Tuesday December 25, 2018 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.

Born in Franklin on March 6, 1923, she was a daughter of the late William and Anna Scapaticci DiPasquali.

Teddie was a 1941 graduate of Franklin High School and worked for a number of years as a legal secretary at the former Wasson & Egan Law Firm. She then went on to work in the trust department at the former Exchange Bank and retired from Penn Bank.

Teddie was a member for nearly 50 years of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. At one time she participated in the Elk's Ladies Bowling League. Teddie enjoyed golfing with her late husband and together they traveled to visit relatives in Florida, Arizona and California.

She was a faithful member of St. Patrick Church.

On July 10, 1954 she married James Preston and he preceded her in death on October 23, 1995.

Surviving is a sister; Marguerite "Marge" Moore of Franklin; a niece-in-law, Kathy Moore of Oil City and many cousins and extended family members.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Paul "Shorty" Moore and a nephew, Bill Moore.

At Teddie's request there will be no visitation.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M. Friday in St. Patrick Church, 949 Liberty St. Franklin with Monsignor John J. Herbein, officiating.

Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin.
