Theodore L. Stellman

Theodore L. Stellman, 92 of 243 Rocca Way Dr., Franklin, died at 11:10 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2009 in The Caring Place.
He was born in Century, West Virginia on November 5, 1916 a son of Joseph and Sophia Bruntz Stellman.
Mr. Stellman served with the U.S. Navy during WWII in both the European and Pacific Theaters of Operation.
He was married to the former Jean L. Foster on January 27, 1940 and she died on September 5, 1994 after 54 years of marriage. He later married the former Harriet Lowman on May 25, 2001 and she was his care giver until he entered The Caring Place.
He was employed with Mobil Oil at Two Mile Run grease manufacturing plant as shipping supervisor for over 20 years followed by employment with Mooney Chemical at the same site , retiring from there in 1983.
He is survivied by two sons Richard G. Stellman and his wife Sharon, Boeme, TX; Terry A. Stellman and his wife Theresa, Missouri City, TX; two daughters, Margaret L. Craig and her husband Fred, Franklin; Cheryl J. Pastor and her husband Joe, Oil City; 8 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; a step-daughter Kimberly Lowman and her close friend Ralph Bowen, step-son James Lowman Jr. and his wife Michelle; 2 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great grandchildren; brother Robert S. Stellman and his wife Anna Marie, Rochester, NY; a sister Virginia E. McCormick, Emlenton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Diane Faye Stellman, 2 brothers, Frank Stellman and Felix Stellman; two sisters, Josephine Nuhfer and Rose Warner.
Friends will be received in the Huff Chapel ,312 W. Park St., Franklin on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 with Dr. John Seth pastor of the Galloway United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment will be made in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
The family suggest that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15205 or the American Heart Assoc., P.O. Box 8835, Camp Hill, PA 17001-8835.
