Theodore "Ted" Edward Denny

Theodore "Ted" Edward Denny Jr., 61 of Franklin, passed away at 10:20 pm on June 26, 2017 at UPMC Hamot in Erie. Ted was born in Cleveland, OH on July 31, 1955 to the Late Theodore E. Denny Sr. and Dorothy Aiken Deal. He was a graduate of Warren High School and went to serve in the United States Army. After his service in the Army Ted was employed at Interlectric in Warren, PA

Ted was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Corry, PA and a member of the Maria House Project in Spartansburg. He was truly an awesome man and loved dearly by his family. He was goofy and loving and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also loved to hunt and fish.

Ted is survived by his four children, Scottie Denny and his fiancée Sabrina of Oil City, Hope Colwell and her husband James "Dukie" of Oil City, William "Bill" Denny and his wife Nikki of Seneca, and Megan Dunkle and her husband Nathan of Franklin, seventeen grandchildren, Alexis, Baylee, Carter, Dillon, Easton, Paxton, Matthew, Kayden, Ayla, Omni, Christian, Chandler, Skilar, Jaden, Tony, Joseph, and Paige, one sister Donna Diehl of San Jose, CA, one brother Rocky Denny Sr and his wife Mary of Warren, numerous nieces and nephews and a step-daughter Danielle Ritz and her husband Joshua.

In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his sisters Connie Bisignano and Becky Pastucha.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 312 W. Park St. Franklin, where family and friends are welcome from 12 pm until 2 pm on Friday, June 30, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 W. Washington St, Corry, on Wednesday July 5, at 10:00 am with the Reverend D.G. Davis III, church pastor, officiating.

Interment will be private.

Memorials in Ted's name may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
