Vivian I. Dunlap

Vivian Izetta Dunlap, 84, of 1038 Pone Lane, Franklin passed away peacefully at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2012 in her home surrounded by the love of her family.



Born July 7, 1928 in Sugarcreek, she was the daughter of the late John and Daisy Pyle Bower. She was a 1946 graduate of Franklin High School.



On November 5, 1956 she married Edison ?Ed? Dunlap who survives.

Mrs. Dunlap previously worked in the Trust Department of the Exchange Bank in Franklin. She was also a Tupperware Consultant for over 30 years. In 1962 the Dunlap?s built Dunlap?s Greenhouse on Pone Lane and enjoyed meeting many wonderful people in over 50 years of business. It gave her such joy to give the children flowers of their own to grow.



She loved giving little gifts to her family and friends, and especially enjoyed the holidays. She will be remembered for her kindness and unconditional love and for always putting everyone else before herself.

She was a lifelong member of Christ United Methodist Church. She loved watching the services on TV Sunday mornings when she wasn?t able to attend services.



In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters Doreen Keely and her fiancé John ?Jack? Morrow Jr. and Linda Yard all of Franklin; a granddaughter Nicole Keely and her partner Matthew Tamasy of Pittsburgh.



Vivian was the last surviving member of her family.



She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, a grandson Matthew D. Keely, son-in-law Robert Yard, a brother John Bower and five sisters June Gipp, Sarah Tanner, Rose McMahan, Doris Wagener and Bessie Clark.



Friends will be received from 11a.m. -2 p.m. on Tuesday at Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 312 W. Park St. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. with the Rev. David Janz, pastor of Christ United Methodist Church officiating.



Interment will follow in Graham Cemetery.
